Team Discovery was created after a large-scale empirical study based on PI Behavioral Assessment results from over 125,000 employees from more than 20,000 teams. The study resulted in 9 different Team Types, based on the combination of the team members' basic motivations and behaviors. In connection with this, 10 different strategy types were also created based on 20 different strategic objectives.
Team Type
Team Discovery generates a Team Type for the team in question showing the team's strengths and challenges. It also shows tips for activities and support to help the team in, for example, change, growth and feedback or simply collaboration and dynamics.
Strategy Type
Next, the team chooses its strategic objectives to focus on in order to achieve its goals. A Strategy Type is generated based on the selected strategic objectives. These are then connected with the team members' behavior and the team receives concrete recommendations for how to use their strengths and deal with their challenges.
